The Reflections Program is an exciting way for students to explore and develop their creativity. This competition is open to all Horizon students to participate in. Every year there is a national theme to inspire the students and their artistic talents. The theme for 2014 is "The world would be a better place if..." . We have many talented students and we know the theme is a way for them to express their unique ideas.

Each student may enter one item in each of the art categories (up to 7). All artwork is judged on artistic merit, mastery of medium and creativity. The judging criteria addresses how the student uses their artistic vision to portray the theme. Each entry must have a Student Entry Form as well as an Information Form that is specific to the category for each entry.

Some things to keep in mind:
Adults may not alter the creative integrity of a student's work
Only one student may create the work and receive an award per entry; a consent form must be included when other people are part of the entry (i.e. someone who appears in students film entry)
Copyrighted material is prohibited in literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts
Use of copyright material is acceptable in the dance and film productions when the title, composer, and performer of any music are cited on the student entry form.
